Ingredients
- 2 oz silver tequila
- 2 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
- 1 oz freshly squeezed orange juice
- 1 tsp agave nectar
- Ice
- Coarse salt (optional)
- Lime wedge (for garnish)
Instructions
- Begin by preparing your glass. If you like a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into a plate of coarse salt. Set the glass aside.
- Next, add ice to your cocktail shaker. Pour in the tequila, lime juice, orange juice, and agave nectar. Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
- Strain the mixture into your prepared glass. If you like, you can add a few ice cubes to the glass. Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
Notes
- If you don’t have a cocktail shaker, you can use a mason jar with a lid.
- For a spicier margarita, try adding a slice of jalapeno to the shaker.
